This was a card that I made with Wonderful Year stamp set that was Cased (do not remember but if it was you please let me know) We made this card at our club this month with the Wonderful Year stamp set, Copper Foil Sheets, Copper embossing powder, white card stock, and the Pine Embossing Folder. It is a very easy card to make yet very elegant.
This is my last Christmas card and was made by my down line, Cassie!!! What a fun and beautiful card! Hope you got a few new ideas for 2016! I would like to wish everyone a very Happy and Healthy New Year!
These are 3 of the cards that I made with the Salt Technique.
1) Put water on Watercolor Paper with paint brush or aqua painter until pretty wet
2) Add drops of reinkers on a block and then use aqua painter to drop on paper and watch it spread. Erika from Pink Buckaroos had an excellent idea of putting drops of the 3 colors on a block and then put your reinker bottle by each color so you can remember the colors as often the colors all look alike. Let them run all over and then add 2 different kinds of salts like table salt, rock salt etc and let it dry. I let mine dry overnight but you can also use a heat gun.
3) When dry scrape all the salt off with like a credit card, etc
4) Use Project Life Framelit to cut out shape and then add details and stamps of your choice.
I used Tempting Turquoise, Soft Sky and Bermuda Bay reinkers for card 2. For cards 1 and 3 I used Night of Navy, Blackberry Bliss and Blue.
